I would like to present my candidature for faculty position in Communication department of your esteemed University. At present, I am working as Assistant Professor for Communication Studies, Salalah, College of Applied Sciences, Ministry of Higher Education, Oman. I am keen to work there, that’s why I am applying for this post. I am expert in teaching Journalism, Corporate Communication, Communication Strategy, Public Relations Communication and Advertising courses.
I have 8 years’ experience of TV industry as News Reporter and as Public Relations Officer for Market Research Company. Since July 2009, I am working as faculty in Communication Department and played different role to my employer. I am beneficial to my present employer as I have written a full course material on Media production for Public Relation based on my industry and academic experience. I have also reviewed two courses – Public Relations and Introduction to Journalism for the Ministry. I am responsible to produce College Video Magazine. I always put my effort to create new ideas and apply them in class room study and practices. I am also extensively involved in research work to expand my academic career.
